The Culemborg Bridge Safe Space Initative offers an overnight sleeping facility for homeless people under the Culemborg Bridge in Cape Town's city centre, and was launched in June 2018.
The Safe Space is intended to take strain off the shelter system and to help integrate homeless people back into society.
It provides up to 230 beds, water, showers and storage space. Health services are provided as well as social services to help people connect to potential job opportunities.
Resin Processing Solutions, together with our sister company, Robatech, contributes meals to the guests of Safe Space as part of our CSR initiative.
